The heart of the old wood is boiled in water. The threads are steamed over the boling water producing a pink-red color. The tree is cut down for this purpose.
Hati kayu yang sudah tua direbus. Benang dimasukkan dalam air rebusan hingga menghasikan benang berwarna merah muda (pink). Cara panen kurang sustainable karena harus potong pohonnya.
