Daunnya lebih kecil dari Indigofera arrecta, daunnya berwarna hijau tua, buah berbentuk selinder kecil. Batang dan kulit batang berwarna coklat.

Identified by Tony Cunningham's posters emailed. Both IKS 009 and IKS 010 definitely fall within I. tinctoria, although this sp. Is variable. It would be interesting to see what differences the locals recognise here in order to identify the two types.
