Mount Labalekang, used to be community forest. Semicultivated garden. 20 trees were found in approximately 700 square meters. 14 young trees growing in this area. Drainage: well drained. Soil: humus.

Smaller leaf (10cm long, 4cm wide) than on symplocos in Bali or Flores, no hair on underside such as is found on Bali or Sumba. Fruit is 1cm long, diameter 5mm, larger than Bali, Kalimantan and Loba wawi in Flores. Fruit is green when young, Leaf is less serrated than Symplocos in Bali, Flores and Kalimantan.
