The plant only grows during the raining season. The leafy part of the plant dries up during the dry season but grows again during the rainy season.
Hanya ada pada musim hujan. Akan mati pada musim panas, tapi umbinya akan bisa tumbuh lagi pada musim hujan
The leaf is green with parallel veination. The flower is whitish green and the ovaries are yellow. The tuber has a clear sap throughout. According to T.C. this is in the Orchidaceae family.

From Photo the plant was identified by Andre Schuiteman resident expert at Kew on Orchidaceae " This is probably Geodorum densiflorum which is already known from West Timor." (email sent by Marie Briggs ke jean Howe RBG-Kew)
