Bark of Jangau tebalang used in textile mordant process. Umin and Menaung use three different species for mordant. This species is used if Jangau Bara is not available.
Kulit Jangau tebalang digunakan dalam proses peminyakan. Umin dan Menaung memakai tiga macam tumbuhan untuk mordant. Jenis ini dipakai jika Jangau Bara tidak tersedia.

Bark of Jangau Bara used in mordant process. Of three trees used this is the preferred tree as the bark has a higher aluminium content and gives a strong red color.
Kulit Jangau Bara digunakan dalam proses peminyakan. Lebih sering dipakai karena kandungan aluminiumnya lebih tinggi dan menghasilkan warna merah yang lebih kuat
