Leaves used in oil process along with Sterculia foetida (kepaka) oil and turmeric. Tony Cunningham notes that this is used along with Doro mone (IKS 014 Cucurbitaceae), and turmeric (kahungi). This is the rare species grows alongside the more common ficus species. Only the rare species is used in red dye process.
Daunnya digunakan dalam proses peminyakan dicampur dengan Sterculia foetida (kepaka) dan Kunir. Menurut catatan Tony Cunningham bahan ini dicampur dengan Doro mone (IKS 014 Cucurbitaceae), and Kunir (kahungi). Tanaman ini merupakan spesies yang langka dan tumbuh disepanjang jalan seperti kebanyakan spesies Ficus yang lainya. Hanya spesies yang langka digunakan dalam proses warna merah.
