Leaves used dried and fresh in red dye process. When tested at YPBB studio, threads turn red as when using alum source + morinda

The leaves of rufa are used both dried and fresh in the oiling process similar to how Symplocos leaves are used to make red color. Leaves are a source of alum.
Daunnya rufa dipakai sekar dan kering dalam proses perminyakan untuk mendapat merah. Ada alum dan pakai seperti Symplocos di tempat lain.
