The stem and leaves are use for healing ritual in the river. The stem and leaves are swept over the body of the sick person and throw out the stem and leaves to the river. Means that the sickness is move to the stem and leaves of non pane and flow with the river to where it belongs.
Ranting dan daun dipakai sebagai bahan ritual pengobatan di sungai. Ranting dan daun dipakai untuk menyapu seluruh tubuh orang yang sakit, lalu ranting dan daun dibiarkan terbawa arus sungai, diharapkan agar sakit dari si pasien pindah ke ranting dan daun non pane dan hanyut bersama air.
