Nik No'o is also used as a motif on traditional textile. Nik no'o is a motif that found in a Cassia fistula leaf and it is made by biting the leaf to create a design. Nik no'o is a Dawan languang means leaf of Cassia fistula. In the past, the leaf is use as a sign for a place. Usually when someone do a big cleaning on their garden, they will asked someone else or their neighbor for help. The owner of the garden will bite nikis leaf until it create some motif and put the leaf over the road as a sign for the helpers to get to the garden.
The leaf and flower of nikis is also use by the children. The yellow flowers of nikis are made ito a crown by the girls while the leaf of nikis is use by the boys to create their design which they cosidered as their own symbol.

Nik No'o juga dijadikan motif pada kain tradisional. Motif Nik No'o artinya motif yang ditemukan pada daun nikis yang dibentuk dengan cara di gigit. Nik noÕo dalam bahasa Dawan berarti daun nikis (Cassia fistula). Pada jaman dahulu, daun nikis dijadikan sebagai penunjuk jalan untuk mengarahkan orang menuju suatu tempat. Biasanya pada saat membersihkan rumput di kebun maka pemilik kebun akan mengundang orang lain untuk ikut membantu. Pemilik kebun akan menggigit daun nikis dan meletakan di jalan untuk mengarahkan orang-orang tersebut menuju kebun yang dituju.
Daun dan bunga nikis juga menjadi media bermain bagi anak anak pada jaman dulu. Bunga nikis yang berwarna kuning akan dirangkai membentuk mahkota dan bisanya dipakai oleh anak-anak perempuan. Sedangkan bagi anak laki-laki, daun nikis dijadikan media untuk membentuk berbagai motif yang diinginkan menjadi lambang atau cap (dalam bahasa Dawan disebut malak) sebagai simbol diri masing masing.
