Bark of Lengkar is boiled until liquid is thick and syrupy (kental) then combined with lime and the leaves of empait to make a red color. (hot process)
Kulit Lengkar direbus hingga air rebusan mengental seperti sirup lalu campur dengan kapur sirih dan daun empait (Clerodendron adenophysum) untuk membuat campuran warna alam merah.
